Whenever one door closes another opens. Literally! HHL is very proud to present its new seminar rooms in the Academic House. After two decades, HHL’s community had to say goodbye to the well-known KT seminar rooms. A piece of history at HHL came to an end. Those basement rooms below the tower of the building had been established in 1998 – only two years after HHL had enrolled their very first diploma students (K1). During the past 20 years, roughly 3000 courses took place there.

HHL’s Chancellor Dr. Marcus Kölling appreciates the change:

"Providing a modern learning environment is extremely important to us. When I was a student myself at HHL, almost 20 years ago, we were happy about the newly seminar rooms in the KT area and I hope students will feel the same about our new seminar rooms in the Academic House."

The four new lecture rooms on the first floor of the Academic House are entirely renovated and equipped with state of the art technology: functional learning room furniture designed by FOURdesign and Clevertouch Pro LUX 86 inch 4K interactive touchscreens. An investment into digitalization that was kindly co-financed by the Alumni Association.

HHL Alumni Association Board Member and HHL Alumnus of P9, Dr. Christian Post states:

"We as the Alumni Association are very happy that our donation contributes to the HHL students being able to study in a pleasant atmosphere and now even more professional working environment.”
